Central
Coast of NSW: is situated between Sydney and Newcastle. It is a beautiful
area with extensive waterways and many National Parks and other reserves. Many
people have chosen to live on the Central Coast (including one of our
daughters and her family). Although the area supports a large population, no
one is very far from beaches and bushland. The image shows a section of
Brisbane Water, the entrance to the Hawkesbury River, and was taken from
Ettalong, one of the Central Coast settlements.
Brisbane Water National
Park, Popran National Park, Bouddi National Park and Dharug National Park
are all significant environmental reserves on the Central Coast. There are
also a number of other bushland reserves managed by the Local Government
Authority.
